“The Political Effects of Inequality-Increasing Policy: Evidence from a Tax and Welfare Reform”
Yonatan Berman is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Economics at the Department of Political Economy, and a member of the Quantitative Political Economy Group at King’s College London. He is also a visiting fellow at the International Inequalities Institute, LSE, an affiliate of the Stone Centre at UCL, an associated researcher at the Stone Center on Socio-Economic Inequality, CUNY, and a fellow of the World Inequality Database Project (WID.world). His research interests lie in the intersection of public and labor economics and political economy, with a focus on quantitative methods. He is mainly interested in the evolution of income and wealth distributions, social mobility and their inter-relationship, empirically and theoretically.
