“Women’s empowerment and climate adaptation: Do joint land titles promote food security of households facing extreme weather events in Tanzania?”

Tim Wegenast is an interim professor at the Department of Politics and Public Administration at the University of Konstanz. He held research and teaching positions as an interim professor for Political Science at the University of Mannheim, University of Konstanz and Zeppelin University, as a research fellow at the German Institute of Global and Area Studies, a visiting fellow at the Malcolm Wiener Center for Social Policy at Harvard University, and a visiting lecturer at the University of Lucerne. His academic work lies at the intersection of international political economy, development studies and peace and conflict research. Additional research interests include the socio-political and environmental consequences of large-scale land acquisitions, climate change mitigation as well as social inequalities.
