Sophie Moser is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Cluster of Excellence “The Politics of Inequality” and was previously a doctoral researcher at the Chair of Organizational Behavior at the University of Konstanz. Her research focuses on inequality at the workplace, particularly inequalities based on demographic attributes such as gender, migration background, and age. Using quantitative methods, including longitudinal designs, multilevel modelling, and experimental approaches, she examines how informal norms, organizational policies, and broader labour market structures mitigate or amplify inequalities in work outcomes and pay. Her work has received several awards, including the William H. Newman Award at the Academy of Management.
