
Sandra Walzenbach

Sandra Walzenbach is a postdoctoral researcher (Akademische Rätin) at the University of Konstanz. Her current research focuses on environmental sociology, media perception and polarization. Methodologically, she bridges her early work on survey methodology (experiments, sensitive questions, interviewer effects, and data linkage consent) with integrative approaches that use qualitative interviews, eye-tracking, digital trace data and automated text analysis of media data. Sandra Walzenbach has studied at Mannheim University, holds a PhD from Konstanz University, and has previously worked as a Senior Research Officer at the Institute for Social and Economic Research (ISER) at Essex University.
