Role models among us: experimental evidence on inspirational and gender disparities set in stones

Prateek Bhan is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Konstanz, where he is a member of both the Cluster of Excellence “The Politics of Inequality” and the Department of Economics. He received his doctorate from the University of Glasgow and formerly studied in Bristol and Delhi. His research focuses on the role of mental wellbeing, agency and hope in bettering the lives of children and youth, and its implications on development and inequality.
