Ole Brüggemann is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the European University Institute and currently works in the ERC Project TARGETS: What makes people targets: a multi-actor study of how ethnic discrimination is perceived, tackled and avoided. His research centers around perceptions of social inequalities and their behavioral and political consequences. Current projects focus on the recognition and contestation of discrimination at work, beliefs about gender inequality, and preferences for inequality-reducing policies. He specializes in survey experimental approaches (e.g. factorial survey experiments and information provision experiments) together with quantitative analysis of survey and administrative data. His research has been published in the European Sociological Review, Socius, European Societies, and Research in Social Stratification and Mobility.
