Natalia Khorunzhina is an Associate Professor of Economics at Copenhagen Business School. Her research lies at the intersection of household finance, applied macroeconomics, and labor economics, with a particular focus on housing markets and how household balance sheets shape consumption and life-cycle decisions. Her work has been published in outlets including the International Economic Review, the Journal of Monetary Economics, and the Journal of Business and Economic Statistics. She is the principal investigator on a Danish Council for Independent Research–funded project studying how house-price and income shocks transmit to household spending and influence consumption inequality. She has held visiting appointments at Duke University, Toulouse School of Economics, and University College London.
