Matthew Hunt is a lecturer in sociolinguistics at University of Southampton. Previously, he completed his PhD in the Department of Linguistics at Queen Mary, University of London. His main research interests lie in variationist sociolinguistics, socio-semantics, multidimensional semantics, and experimental approaches ot semantics, pragmatics and sociolinguistics.
