“Meritocratic preferences among politicians and their consequences for redistributive attitudes”
Maj-Britt Sterba is a postdoctoral researcher at the Cluster of Excellence “The Politics of Inequality” at the University of Konstanz.
An economist by training, she did her PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods with a focus on fairness attitudes towards economic inequality.
She received a B.A. in Philosophy & Economics at the University of Bayreuth and a M.Sc. in Economics at the University of Amsterdam, specializing in Behavioural Economics & Game Theory. She also studied at the Université Saint-Joseph in Beirut. During her studies, Maj-Britt worked as a research editor for various policy papers
