“The Situation of the Self-Employed”
Karin Schulze Buschoff is since 2013 Head of the Labour Market Policy Department of the Hans Böckler Foundation’s Institute of Economics and Social Research. She studied Politcal Science and obtained her PhD from the University of Münster and later obtained her habilitation at the FU Berlin on the topic “Solo Self-Employment in European Comparison”. Previously, she has been member of staff at the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB) and at the German Confederation of Trade Unions (DGB) Federal Executive Board. Since 1999 she is lecturer and has been a Professor at the University of Münster and FU Berlin and Visiting Professor at the TU Braunschweig.
