Irene Pañeda-Fernández

Irene Pañeda-Fernández is a postdoctoral research fellow at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center and obtained her PhD from the European University Institute. Her current research focuses on attitudes toward inequality, migration, and discrimination. She is part of TRANSMIT, a project funded by the German government that aims at understanding integration and migration dynamics from a transnational perspective through data collections in Nigeria, Senegal, the Gambia, Germany, Turkey and Lebanon. Her work has been published at the European Sociological Review, Sociological Science, the Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, and Social Science Research.
