Heiko Giebler is Head of the Data & Methodology Center at the Cluster of Excellence “SCRIPTS” at Freie Universität Berlin. He holds a PhD in political science and conducts research on political behaviour, democracy, elections, and survey methodology, with a particular focus on liberal values, populism, political elites, and comparative public opinion research with a specific focus on experimental methods and deculturalization. In the past, he oversaw the Public Attitudes towards the Liberal Script (PALS) survey as well as was involved in large-scale projects like the German Election Study (GLES) or the European Election Study (EES).
