G. Brückmann

G. Brückmann is a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute of Political Science, University of Bern, affiliated with the Oeschger Centre for Climate Change Research. Before joining the University of Bern, they received a PhD from ETH Zurich, where they worked at the Institute of Science, Technology and Policy (ISTP) and the International Political Economy and Environmental Politics (IPEEP) group. Brückmann’s research focuses on the socio-technical transition of energy and transport systems in the context of accelerated climate change. Their interdisciplinary research on public acceptance of Net-Zero transitions and associated policies often focuses on the roles of distributional impacts, experience, and information. Methodologically, they combine quantitative methods, especially surveys and field experiments, with computational social science techniques and employ mixed-methods and transdisciplinary research methods, as appropriate.
