“Structural vs. Dynamic Inequality: Understanding the Effects of Social Mobility”
Fabian Pfeffer is Professor of Sociology at the Ludwig-Maximilian-University (LMU) Munich. His work on social inequality, wealth, education, and quantitative methods appears in the American Sociological Review, the Annual Review of Sociology, Social Forces, the European Sociological Review, and other outlets. He is the recipient of the Early Career Award from two sections of the American Sociological Association, the section on Inequality, Poverty and Mobility and the section on Sociology of Education. His research has been supported by the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Russell Sage Foundation, the Spencer Foundation, and others.
