Elisabetta Girardi has been a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Munich School of Politics and Public Policy since April 2025. She was previously employed at the University of Mannheim, where she obtained her PhD in Political Science in June 2024, and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Pisa (Italy) as part of the project RESisting the CRISES: Forms of Political Engagement by Low-Skilled Workers. Her research focuses on the political implications of inequality, with a particular focus on economic and labour precarity. Her work has been published in West European Politics, Journal of Elections, Public Opinion and Parties, and Italian Political Science Review.
