“Consequences for Gender Inequality”
Eileen Peters is a sociologist who is currently leading a BMBF-funded project at the Institute of Economic and Social Research of the Hans Böckler Foundation. The project is focused on investigating the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on gender inequalities. She received her PhD from the University of Bielefeld in 2022. Her research explores relational inequalities in the labor market, specifically focusing on how organizational norms, rules, regulations, and interactional processes contribute to and legitimizes social inequalities between categorically different groups (e.g., women/men, immigrants/natives).
