“Perceptions about Institutional Quality and Preferences for Economic Redistribution”
Bilyana Petrova is a URPP postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Political Science at the University of Zurich. Her research focuses on the determinants of economic inequality and economic redistribution in Europe and Latin America. Her current work explores the impact of perceptions of institutional quality on preferences for economic redistribution. She holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to coming to UZH, she was a Max Weber fellow at the European University Institute (Italy), a postdoctoral researcher at the Stone Center for Socio-Economic Inequality (NYC), and an assistant professor at Texas Tech University.
