“Consequences for Gender Inequalities”

Bettina Kohlrausch has been since May 2020 Director of the Hans Böckler Foundation’s Institute of Economics and Social Research and Professor of Social Transformation and Digitalization at Paderborn University (W3). Previously, she was Professor of Sociology of Education at Paderborn University, as well as Visiting Professor at the German Center for Higher Education Research and Science Studies (DZHW) and held the Chair of Sociology of Education at the University of Hanover. She completed her doctorate at the International Graduate School in Bremen. Her main research interests lie in the analysis of the significance of work and social integration, the emergence and extent of antidemocratic attitudes, gender inequalities in relation to the distribution of care and paid work and social inequality in access to education and qualification.
