Anam Pandoh

Anam Pandoh is a research scholar pursuing PhD in Economics at the Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management, IIT Bombay. Her research focuses on socioeconomic inequalities among women in India, with a particular emphasis on their education, labor market outcomes, and human capital formation. She applies quantitative methods to explore the interplay of economic, social and demographic status in shaping opportunities and outcomes. Her work bridges development economics, gender and population studies, and public policy, aiming to provide evidence-based interventions to reduce inequalities. Anam’s research has been published in PLOS ONE and featured in the IHDS newsletter as well as in Policy Edge, highlighting its relevance for both academic and policy audiences.
