Closing remarks | Best Poster Award

In the closing plenary, two of the conference hosts Claudia Diehl and Gabriele Spilker will guide a systematic reflection on the contributions and discussions of the conference. Drawing on observations made throughout the panels and sessions, Sebastian Koos and David Rueda will provide an analytical synthesis of the central themes, highlighting patterns in topic selection, theoretical and methodological approaches, as well as emerging trends within the field. Particular attention will be given to areas that received less coverage and to potential gaps in the current research agenda. By situating these observations within broader scholarly developments, the session provides an opportunity to step back, connect the dots, and consider what these discussions might mean for the future of the field.
